Preservation culture and environment must be the top priority amidst the onslaught of tourism. Bali's tourism, which is the backbone of the economy, is now threatened by the negative impacts of foreign tourists. Firm steps are needed to protect Bali's cultural and environmental heritage. Overtourism triggers various problems such as cultural disrespect, traffic congestion, plastic waste accumulation , and criminal acts. Therefore, there needs to be limitation on the number of tourists visiting Bali, an increase in ticket prices, and education for tourists about Balinese culture and customs. Some parties may argue that limiting tourists will reduce revenue. However, sustainable and quality tourism will provide greater long-term benefits for Bali. The Balinese government, local communities, and tourists must work together to protect Bali. Let's support responsible tourism that respects Bali's culture and environment. Let's ensure that future generations can enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of this island of the gods.
