This is a Response to the Pariwisata Berkelanjutan wikithon
The problem of overtourism is a threat to the tourism industry and the comfort of Balinese life, which has clearly been felt by one of the tourist destinations, Penglipuran Village. The excess number of tourist visits in Penglipuran Village from the target has the potential to have a negative impact on Penglipuran Village. It can be seen from the overflow of tourist arrivals in Penglipuran Village can cause disruption of community activities to the emergence of congestion. The first strategy implemented by Penglipuran Village to deal with these problems is the equalization of parking lots available in Penglipuran Village. Efforts or strategies that have been implemented by Penglipuran Village is by managing the arrival of tourists through several entrances directed at equal fulfillment of parking lots. The second strategy implemented is to develop new tourist attractions that exist in the environment around Penglipuran Village such as developing new attractions in the bamboo forest. With this strategy, it is expected to reduce the negative impact of tourist visits in Penglipuran Village
