PREVENTION OF OVERTOURISM IN BALI!

WHAT IS OVERTOURISM?

a condition where the number of tourists visiting a destination exceeds its capacity, resulting in negative impacts on local communities, the environment, and the tourism experience itself

SOME EFFORTS TO PREVENT ROVERTOURISM

1. LIMITING THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW HOTELS AND VILLAS

A moratorium on the construction of new hotels, villas, and nightclubs in several areas of Bali.

2. LIMITING THE NUMBER OF TOURISTS

The government and tourism authorities can limit the number of tourists allowed to enter popular destinations.

3. DEVELOPING TOURIST VILLAGES

By involving local communities, preserving the environment and culture, and providing equitable economic benefits.
