Save Bali from the Poison of Overtourism!
This is a Response to the Pariwisata Berkelanjutan wikithon
Bali, a paradise on earth with natural and cultural beauty, is now facing a serious threat: overtourism. Traffic jams, piling up of garbage, depleted natural resources—these are all poisons that are eating away at the beauty of the Island of the Gods. In fact, tourism in Bali continues to increase, one of which was recorded in June 2024, an increase of 7.24% from the previous month (a total of 518,819). If not addressed immediately, Bali could lose its charm.
However, we can detoxify this poison! Start by being a responsible tourist: respect local culture, reduce plastic use, and support the local economy by choosing local products and services. The government and tourism actors must also limit the number of tourists in certain areas and implement sustainable tourism.
Bali is not just a destination, but a home for many people. Let's protect it together, so that its beauty remains sustainable for future generations. If not us, who else? If not now, when?- Category
