Preserving Nature with Tri Hita Karana

The Balinese Hindu community reflects their quality of life by always preserving nature. The balance and harmony of nature is upheld through Tri Hita Karana, emphasizing harmonious relationships with God, humans, and the environment.

According to their faith, Balinese Hindus are encouraged to maintain temple sanctity. Brotherhood and mutual respect are shown through teamwork in cleaning temple areas, properly disposing of waste, and avoiding plastic bags when carrying offerings. Organic waste like leaves, wood, flowers, and fruits are processed into organic fertilizers and eco enzymes.

It is noble when the preservation of nature is based on Tri Hita Karana. Balinese Hindus are aware of the importance of protecting both the macrocosm (bhuana agung) and microcosm (bhuana alit), aiming to achieve the ultimate goal of "mokshartam jagadhita ya ca iti dharma" (prosperity of the world and liberation from miseries).

Daging sasuratan puniki dahating mautama pisan, sampun katlatarang antuk singkat, padet, jelas, dangan karesepang lan kalaksanayang. Sadurung ipun kalaksanayang, sasuratan puniki sampun nlatarang indik sapunapi iraga patut setata ngupapira jagat, punika patut mangda krama Baline tatas uning dumun indike punika sane manut ring konsep ajahan Tri Hita Karana.

Utamannyane sarana upakara minakadi jejaitan saking busung, ron, miwah sane lianan sane sampun kaaturang, para pamedek mangda prasida malih makta mantuk, puniki mangda luu ring wewidangan pura punika dados kirangan. Sausan punika, krama Baline patut rumaket sareng-sareng antuk mareresik ring wewidangan pura mangda setata suci, pinaka cihna ngaturang ayah. Selanturnyane nenten lali antuk setata ngutang luu ring genah sane sampun kacumawisang. Sampunang ja ngutang luu sembarangan, minakadi ring tlabahe, krana punika lakar ngranayang blabar. Iraga pinaka krama Bali patut nyaga palemahan mangda setata lestari. Silih sinunggil mareresik sane kamargiang punika ngolah luu organik, dados kompos. Sepatutne taler nyabran desa madue piranti pencacah luu lan polih pembinaan tata cara ngarya rabuk kompos. Siosan ring punika, taler prasida antuk ngwangun bank sampah komunitas ring desa adat soang-soang. Mangda luune kirangan, patut kirangin ngangge tas kresek ritatkala makta sarana upakara ka pura, krana sampun polih Peraturan Gubernur Bali (PERGUB) No. 97 warsa 2018 ngeninin indik larangan nganggen kantong plastik. Luu non organik, sekadi plastik sane wenten, sida kapasahang miwah kadaur ulang. Leluu plastik dados kadaur ulang anggen kerajinan lan kerajinanne punika dados adola mangda polih pikolih. Siosan punika, ngawigunayang eco enzim sane kapikolihang saking fermentasi luu organik sekadi woh-wohan berek naler kadadosang. Ngiring sareng-sareng matangi ngupapira jagat Bali mangda lestari.
