Mas Ruscitadewi was born in Kesiman, Denpasar. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in archeology and a Master's in Hindu philosophy. Since elementary school she actively writes poetry, short stories, and drama. Her literary work is collected in the book "Hana Bira," her short stories in the book "Penari Sanghyang" (Indonesian), "Luh Jalir" (Balinese), her dramatic scripts in the books "Rumah Bunga" and "Nyanyian Hitam" (monologue), as well as in a few collected volumes of poetry and short stories together.
Mas Ruscitadewi studied Archeology, Philosophy and Religion at the Denpasar State Hindu Dharma Institute.
As well as writing poetry, songs and short stories, she teaches philosophy in the form of theatre to prisoners who’ve been sentenced to death at Kerobokan Prison.
She also teaches children with HIV/AIDS at Yayasan Kerti Praja, and is a curator for Gelar Seni Bali Mandara Nawanatya, a year-long arts event series.

Karya sastranya terkumpul dalam buku “Hana Bira”, cerpennya terkumpul dalam buku “Penari Sanghyang” (Bahasa Indonesia), “Luh Jalir” (Bahasa Bali), naskah dramanya dalam buku “Rumah Bunga” dan “Nyanyian Hitam” (monolog), serta terkumpul dalam beberapa buku kumpulan puisi dan cerpen bersama
Mas Ruscitadewi mempelajari Arkelogi, Filsafat, dan Keagamaan di Institut Hindu Dharma Negeri Denpasar.
Ia juga mengajar anak-anak penderita virus HIV/AIDS di Yayasan Kerti Praja, dan seorang Kurator untuk Gelar Seni Bali Mandara Nawanatya, sebuah rangkaian acara seni sepanjang tahun.
Selain menulis puisi, lagu, dan cerita pendek, Ruscitadewi mengajar filsafat dalam bentuk teater kepada narapidana yang telah dijatuhi hukuman mati di Penjara Kerobokan.
