TONGPOS (COMPOST BIN)
This is a Response to the Sampah Upacara wikithon
Religious activities, especially Hinduism, certainly require a lot of facilities and infrastructure for performing the yad. Even the simplest yadnya certainly requires several ingredients such as incense, canang, or flowers. These infrastructure will definitely end up as waste and we cannot avoid this but we can reduce it. Based on the existing problems, we offer a solution, namely realizing a trash can that also produces organic compost. The mechanism of our solution is, we will facilitate several trash cans and fill them with EM 4 activator liquid (composting liquid). So when the pemedek throws rubbish into the bin, it will immediately be processed into organic compost by the liquid and every 3 weeks the compost will be taken and used to preserve the plants in the temple. This also has a good impact on the environment because it can minimize the problem of canang and incense waste more quickly because it is processed into compost. The younger generation can contribute to processing this waste.
