In my opinion, we can take the first step ourselves, to by using sokasi/bokoran containers to carry prayer facilities and infrastructure when going to temples or carrying out religious activities. Apart from that, we can also make warning boards prohibiting the use of plastic bags in each holy place or place that will be used as a religious activity and we as local residents in the area around the place of religious activity can provide non-plastic containers or bokoran to be used as containers or places for prayer facilities. From the methods I have explained earlier, it is certain that the amount of plastic waste will gradually decrease in every religious activity. Another way that we can do, in my opinion, is that we can help local communities who hold religious activities to clean and sort existing plastic waste.  +

Actually, reducing the amount of waste in everyday life requires extra awareness in realizing it. What we know is that in religious activities, especially Hinduism in Bali, a lot of waste is produced, both organic and non-organic. Such as offerings, plastic waste, and many more. Culture is indeed difficult to change, but from now on we can raise awareness to reduce waste use. The first step that is most important in my opinion is Providing a trash can in a corner that can be reached. Be it a trash bag or a trash can (organic and non-organic) And followed by small steps including. 1. Replacing as much as possible the use of plastic waste in religious ceremonies. For example: using a bowl as a substitute for plastic bags. Replacing the use of disposable plastic with jars as containers for tirtha. 2. Waste - Waste from religious ceremonies, both organic and non-organic, can be processed or recycled as a fragrance or ecoenzyme that is useful or can be sold in the community In this way, we as Hindus, especially in Bali, can always protect nature and during religious ceremonies. If it has been implemented, the garbage will be reduced and neatly arranged. And back to ourselves, it takes attention and understanding from all of us to be able to maintain the cleanliness of the surroundings. If we all want to pray comfortably and well, we must also be wise in throwing away garbage.  +
The concept of tri hita karana teaches us to maintain relationships with Parahyangan,Pawongan and Palemahan. We can use this concept in managing religious waste. 1.Parahyangan: organizing simple ceremonies, reducing single use items. 2.Pawongan:Inviting all people to clean the temple and the environment 3.Palemahan: processing organic waste into fertilizer and organic waste into recycled goods. From this discussion,it can be concluded that we all must actively make efforts to reduce waste from hindu religious ceremonies. Therefore,we can form a working group to handle this problem, conduct socialization to the community, and invite the community to use recylable items. We must remember the concept of tri hita karana in managing religious waste. Because if we dont start it,who else?  +
With waste management in the temple environment, we can separate waste, namely separating organic and inorganic waste. To avoid littering during ceremonies, it is advisable to provide good trash bins. But before that, we must also have the awareness to maintain cleanliness in the temple environment."  +
The way to reduce waste every time we hold a religious ceremony in my opinion is, we all have to remember the environment. In our respective homes first, we have to reduce the use of plastic. In my village, we have implemented a government program, called "modern teba" or backyard garden. Everyone has a modern teba to dispose of organic waste, while inorganic waste is taken to the banjar to be sold in the waste bank program. This waste bank program is carried out once a month. My mother happens to be an employee of the waste bank. The government should hold a seminar or workshop on this program. I have done it and have reduced waste in religious ceremonies. For example, during the Manusa Yadnya ceremony, the waste is divided into two, namely organic waste which is disposed of in the modern teba and inorganic waste which is taken and sold in the Banjar.  +
This rubbish can make the temple unclean, ugly in the eyes of people, uncomfortable for praying, so we have to maintain cleanliness and reduce rubbish, especially plastic, perhaps by ensuring that residents who are going to pray are not allowed to bring items with plastic bottoms or plastic holders, and Traders who sell around the area should not use plastic mats such as plastic bags or anything else  +

Taking steps towards environmental friendliness is not easy to do together. One common issue is the accumulation of garbage during religious ceremonies, especially at large places of worship or temples in Bali. To reduce the amount of garbage accumulating in temples, a program of education and socialization can be implemented to encourage the surrounding community to take more responsibility for the waste they leave behind. This education can be done by creating creative content about environmental issues and sharing articles that can serve as guidelines for the community. Additionally, community awareness of the surrounding environment is crucial to maintain environmental sustainability, ensuring it remains clean, comfortable, and beautiful.  +

Let's reduce waste in the temple together, namely by: 1. Stop using plastic to hold canang, use a bowl or keben. 2. When praying, use flowers such as Jepun flowers, sandat, cempaka, etc. 3. If you pray using canang, after praying, throw the canang in the trash. 4. If the trash can in the temple is full, take your trash home and throw it away at home. Let's keep our temple clean together!! so that our temple is clean and comfortable to use.  +
Maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability in sacred places like temples is a shared responsibility. This demonstrates respect and reverence for the sacred place and the spiritual values it represents. By keeping the Temple clean, we can comfortably perform our worship activities and also be more focused when praying. Besides maintaining the cleanliness of the Temple, we also need to reduce waste during worship activities at the Temple. Many people still use plastic bags to carry worship facilities, which causes a lot of plastic waste in the temple. So how can we reduce plastic waste in the temple? We can use non-plastic bags to carry worship facilities. When taking (Nunas) Tirta, we can use small plastic jars instead of using disposable plastic bags. So let's keep the Temple area clean for our collective comfort during worship. And let's reduce plastic waste for the sake of our beloved nature.  +
Waste has a huge negative impact on the environment. Religious activities often involve a lot of people and produce a considerable amount of waste. In order for us to carry out religious activities with attention to environmental sustainability. We can apply several ways to reduce waste in religious activities such as minimizing the use of plastic by switching to reusable containers, for example when bringing flowers for prayer facilities we can use flower holders, when making decorations or bebantenan it is better to predominantly use organic materials so that when it is over in use it can be recycled into compost, and in every area of the sanctuary must also be provided with organic and inorganic waste bins. But all of that will not be able to be implemented if we do not have awareness in maintaining cleanliness, therefore let us together maintain cleanliness because if we don't take care of who else?  +
Together we keep our place clean and peace.  +
When you finish worshiping, have you thrown away the garbage you made, the garbage that you leave in the place where you finished worshiping will accumulate to create dangerous waste. let's make Bali healthy from us and for us, an example that we can make is biopori for organic waste and non-organic waste we make ecobrik, the results that can be obtained from both examples are ecobrik which can make the soil fertile because there are eco_enzymes that make the soil fertile and from ecobrik we can make it into a form for example tables, bins and others  +
In the Global Era like now, there are a lot of problems that are being discussed among the community, especially in the Bali Island Area. One of them is about the problem of waste that makes the Bali Region dirty, the problem of waste is none other than waste that is often used during religious ceremonies Hinduism in Bali. Most of this religious ceremonial waste is included in organic waste. In my opinion, the way to reduce organic waste such as flowers, incense, canangs and other organic waste is by creating a waste collection which is often called Biopores.Biopores in Indonesian are called infiltration holes. These biopores are pores in the soil where the process is assisted by animals such as worms and termites. This biopores has benefits, one of which is to ferment organic waste so that the waste can be used as a fertilizer that is beneficial for nature and the Balinese community. So, this is the way I can convey about the procedure to reduce organic waste, come on from now on preserve the beauty of the Bali Earth so that it is maintained and beautiful  +
Bali is known for its tourist destinations through its culture, for example Melasti, odalan, ngaben, and other religious events. Of course, if there is a religious ceremony, there will definitely be Banten waste or plastic waste after shopping around the event. In my opinion, there are several ways to reduce waste at religious events, namely: - use of natural materials The use of natural materials, such as flowers, leaves, and wood in Hindu ceremonies and rituals is a very good step because these materials can decompose, thereby reducing waste accumulation. - minimize the use of plastic The committee in the event really needs to appeal to the public to reduce plastic waste in Hindu events or rituals, the public can use cloth bags for storing goods, and use bowls for flower pots. - sort and recycle waste People who come to the religious event, if they want to throw away trash, are advised to sort the waste that is thrown away. - education of public awareness The committee holding the event needs to appeal to the public to reduce bringing plastic waste, it is better to bring cloth bags, throw trash in its place and sort the waste.  +
In Indonesia there are various traditions and customary cultures, for example in bali. in bali is thick with culture and tradition. usually in the bali tradition uses various means of worship. although the materials used are sourced from nature such as busung, slepan, flowers, coconut fruit and so on. but the waste generated from the ceremony is still a lot. one of the solutions I offer is to sort waste between organic and nonorganic. organic waste such as busung, slepan, flowers and coconut fruit can be dried and used as fertilizer. while inorganic waste such as plastic and others can be collected and processed or presented with ecobriks. with that, the problem regarding waste or waste during religious ceremonies can be resolved.  +
