Geographically, Yeh Gangga Temple is located in the valley of the Ganges (Yeh Gangga) river. The area of the holy place which is to the west of the river is the main temple. The temple area to the east of the river is in the form of 6 niches carved into the cliff wall with soil and solid rock material with a less stable texture on the top layer and a more stable material texture on the bottom layer. The main area to the west of the river is bordered by a perimeter wall with a rectangular shape extending from north to south. The inner area is divided into two, namely the western upper terrace and the eastern lower terrace. The eastern area (in the river area) consists of a lightning, 6 niches, and a bath. There is a stone structure inscribed with the number 1357 Saka.

Secara geografis, Pura Yeh Gangga berada pada lembah sungai Gangga (Yeh Gangga). Areal tempat suci yang berada di sebelah barat sungai merupakan pura utama. Areal pura yang berada di sebelah timur sungai berupa 6 ceruk yang dipahatkan pada dinding tebing dengan material tanah dan batu padas dengan tekstur kurang stabil pada lapisan bagian atas dan tekstur material lebih stabil pada lapisan bawahnya. Areal utama sebelah barat sungai dibatasi dengan tembok pembatas keliling dengan bentuk persegi empat memanjang dari utara ke selatan. Areal dalam terbagi menjadi dua yakni teras atas bagian barat dan teras bawah bagian timur. Pada areal timur (di areal sungai) terdiri dari sebuah petirtaan, 6 buah ceruk, dan pemandian. Terdapat struktur batu bertuliskan angka tahun 1357 saka.
