This is a Response to the Pariwisata Berkelanjutan wikithon

Overtourism is a condition when the number of tourists visiting a destination exceeds the capacity of the place. In Bali, overtourism is common in tourism areas such as Canggu, Kuta, and Seminyak. Based on Bali provincial government statistics, tourists coming in 2024 increased by 20.10% from 2023. This has a very bad impact on the sanctity of the island of Bali. One example is when Hindus hold melasti activities then the sanctity of the ceremony is disturbed by noisy beach clubs on the beach. Other problems that have occurred include traffic jams due to the overflow of tourists who rent motorbikes, damage to public facilities due to unethical tourist behavior, and the increasing amount of plastic waste due to the increasing number of tourists. Based on these problems, the solutions that we can provide are to improve waste management, tighten the motorbike rental policy so that no tourists abuse it, and give harsh sanctions to tourists who commit indecent acts in an area.
