Bali is indeed a tourist paradise for tourists, but if most tourists don't control it, it will actually be detrimental to Bali. Traffic jams are everywhere, beaches are dirty and full of people, even local culture is marginalized. Overtourism is like a poison that makes Bali lose its charm m. So if it's like that, how do you solve it? Yes, tourism must be more targeted. Don't just focus on mainstream areas like Kuta and Ubud, but also encourage other areas such as Bangli, Jembrana, or Karangasem. Apart from that, accommodation must be more environmentally friendly, not only pursuing profits but also thinking about the impact on nature and society (sevenstonesindonesia.com). The government and local residents must also be more active in regulating tourists so that they don't just come without rules (balipost.com). There needs to be education for tourists about the importance of protecting the environment and culture of Bali. By using this method, Bali can still become a favorite destination, but without having to lose its beauty and culture. Tourism is okay, the environment and culture are also maintained!
