Description(s)
The poems in this book are impressive. Describe the atmosphere, impression, or description of the places visited and the things that attracted the attention of the poet. “This book describes my feelings while in Sabang,” explained the poet Wayan Jengki Sunarta. Jengki's presence in Sabang is related to the Literary Work residency program of the Language Development and Development Agency, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. While in Sabang, Jengki interacted a lot with the life of the local community, nature, and culture. As a person who grew up in a different culture, Jengki got many interesting experiences while in Sabang, which were then processed into simple poems full of reflection. This book is also embellished with interesting illustrations in the form of sketches and graphics using woodcut printing techniques by a young artist, Nina Fajariyah. The artist from Jakarta responded to the 20 poems in this book to provide an overview of the atmosphere contained in the poem. "You could say this is a kind of collaborative work between poets and artists," he explained.
