    Lawar is cooking in the form of a mixture of vegetables and evenly seasoned minced meat originating from Bali. This food is commonly served in Balinese households or sold widely in restaurants as Balinese lawar. Lawar is made from chopped boiled meat, vegetables, some spices such as turmeric, candlenut, shallots, garlic, and coconut. Sometimes in some types of lawar, an element is given that can add to the taste of the lawar, namely blood from the meat itself. The blood is mixed with certain spices to make the lawar delicious. Lawar cannot last long, if left in the open air it only lasts half a day.

    Lawar inggih punika ajengan sane marupa campuran sayur-sayuran miwah daging cincang sane kedagingin base genep. Ajengan puniki ketah kaajeng ring umah-umah ring Bali utawi kadol ring genah makan sane kasengguh lawar Bali. Lawar kakaryanin saking daging rebus, sayuran, makudang-kudang rempah-rempah sekadi kunyit, kemiri, bawang merah, bawang putih, miwah kelapa. Kadang-kadang ring makudang-kudang soroh lawar kaicen unsur sane prasida nincapang rasa saking lawar punika inggih punika getih saking dagingnyane soang-soang. Getih punika kaicen bumbu-bumbu sane becik sane ngawinang rasa lawar sayan ngulangunin. Lawar nenten prasida bertahan sue, yening kaicalang ring udara terbuka wantah prasida bertahan atengah rahina. Lawar pinake silih pinunggil ajengan khas bali mangde tetep raside ajep lan praside kaloktah nyantos ke dura negare.

    Lawar adalah masakan berupa campuran sayur-sayuran dan daging cincang yang dibumbui secara merata yang berasal dari Bali. Makanan ini lazim disajikan dalam rumah tangga di Bali atau dijual secara luas di rumah-rumah makan dengan sebutan lawar Bali. Lawar dibuat dari daging rebus yang dicincang, sayuran, sejumlah bumbu-bumbu seperti kunyit, kemiri, bawang merah, bawang putih, dan kelapa. Kadang-kadang di beberapa jenis lawar diberikan unsur yang dapat menambah rasa dari lawar itu yaitu darah dari daging itu sendiri. Darah tersebut dicampurkan dengan bumbu-bumbu tertentu sehingga menambah lezat lawar tersebut. Lawar tidak dapat bertahan lama, jika didiamkan di udara terbuka hanya bertahan setengah hari.
